We went to the zoo!
We enjoyed almost a whole week after the New Year off from school and we'd been promising the kids to go to the zoo and illness kept cancelling our plans. It was going to be a bit chilly but headed out anyway.
We even had a friend tag along.
We had a choice opportunity to see both Koala bears awake:
And Sam made me try and take a good photo of a Kangaroo to send to his teacher, Mrs. Keim. Their class are the Kangaroos (Mrs. Keim's Kangaroos). But I couldn't get a good one. We saw the Gorilla pee....a lot. And had to be really patient to get the Giraffes to eat the lettuce.
