May 2019: Singing at Roughriders game, Matthew cub scouts advancement, & Change the World weekend

Sam got to help sing the National Anthem at a Roughriders game and I had two of the cutest dates to watch!

Matthew advanced in cubs and mom got to paint his face!

(Matthew with Hudson Bonadio)

(Lindsey & Bella Byrne)
We packaged meals for Kids against Hunger for Change the World Weekend, so glad to have some friends to do it with!

Seussical the Musical

This sweet girl is trying her hand at ACTING and DRAMA--she's always had a flair for the dramatic and thankfully there is a great little youth theater group not too far from home so she auditioned for SEUSSICAL the MUSICAL.

Her role was Vlad Vladikoff the evil bird that gets rid of Horton's precious clover with the village of whoville and it's residents on it.  She did a fabulous cackle and we were all so proud!

And we are so grateful for all the loved ones who came to support, I mean really this girl is SO LOVED!

May 2019: End of school year happenings

LAST day of school May 2019!  They've grown so much!

Usual shaving cream fight at Bradford Trace park--they're ready!

Other end of school events was getting to go with this kid and his class to the Perot museum for a field trip!

Sam was inducted into the NJHS, doesn't he look handsome in his bowtie!

April 2019: Sam & Stephen's birthday, Weekend at McKneelys & Space Unicorn

Two birthday boys taking their new toy (a nice drone) out for it's maiden voyage at Celebration park!

We spent a lovely weekend with mom & dad McKneely.  The boys helped grandpa with a work project moving rocks, Lindsey created an epic outfit from the dress up, Grandma made us an outstanding cake to go with "Dad's famous casserole" for dinner.  We even got a fund visit with cousins

Lindsey (and bestie Bella) outdid themselves again as the grand finale of the school talent show designing a routine to "Space unicorn"--it was marvelous!  Love these two special friends!

April 2019-OKC Temple, Hamilton, & MCO Nearer my God to Thee

Melissa blipped up to Oklahoma City to go take a quick tour of their recently renovated temple which was having an open house.  Got to see two of her good friends in her calling, Becky Wilkinson & Kim Farah from HQ!

Chilling watching General Conference.  I snapped a photo a little while later of them both asleep--so sweet!

Mom made everyone jealous when she scored a spare ticket to see Hamilton at Fair Park in Dallas--it was awesome and now our family is listening to the soundtrack non-stop!

MCO Spring 2019 Concert in the books--wonderful as always.  Excited to have 3 children participate in preparation for our concert in NYC in Carnegie Hall in July!

Easter visit to College Station

We decided to go to College Station for Easter.

McKneey's Easter 2019

The Easter Bunny brought all the boys matching bowties--cute photo with them all!

We are so excited for the impending arrival of baby girl Howe!  I may have even bought her her own Mexican embroidered dress too!

Kaitlyn spends her birthday at the car dealership

It's no secret I've been ready to replace our van for awhile, but the hail storm of late March was the final straw, she served us well, but we're thrilled to now have this new beauty!

And this girl was a trouper to spend her birthday at the car dealership sealing the deal!  She is so wonderful, we're so excited for the future she is the big 15 now and a drivers permit was her immediate project to tackle!

Matthew turns 9 and other end of March happenings!

Our Matthew turned 9!  He's a joy!  So much energy that we find that he needs to run 2 miles a day to help him stay focused--I sure wish I could bottle his energy and sell it!

Matthew was very proud of this tower he built of blocks that was as tall as he was.

Grateful dad could spend the day with them as a "Watch Dog"--it's always a special day!

Our LAST pinewood derby car and race!

The day after Matthew's birthday we had the most insane hail storm in Allen.  It hailed huge hailstones for about 25 minutes!  It ruined every roof in our town.  We had one friend that had their swimming pool totaled (because the hail got between the tiles around the pool and then it got down under the plaster).

We also got a new van out of the deal.  In the hours before the storm we'd come back from our final trip to dad's house where we took the washer and dryer which we'd put temporarily in our garage so we couldn't pull the van into the garage and when the hail storm hit, it did enough damage that it totaled the van too!
