Since I'm only getting to this blog once in a blue moon, let me try and do some catch up....
FEBRUARY IN A POST.....

I had a birthday. My sweet Mother-in-law even came into town to spend it with me. We had a delicious chocolate cake, I got a really cool dutch oven pot that I'm super excited to use, we played a new favorite family game called Ticket to Ride. I am so very blessed!
Sam finished his first season in basketball. It was a bit of a frustrating season but a character building one. Proud of him for sticking it out....
I made the family endure family photos, we hadn't had them taken in the last 2 years, and we needed an updated photo for Sam's baptism....
Other funny random happenings:
Thursday afternoons are a bit crazy because the girls are all involved in MCO (Millennial Choral Organizations). It's a lovely experience that fills a part of my musical heart. But it means I pick up kids from school and drive directly to rehearsal where we stay all afternoon and walk in the door needing dinner to be ready to serve so this is what my Thursdays look like:
On this night it was chicken tacos and black beans--YUM!
And this guy cracks me up! He's gone through this adverse to girl things and true to Matthew form was crafting and made a separate pile of all the pink and purple and similar color markers so that he would be sure to avoid using them in his art project. And yes, this kid has more "pajama days" than any of my other children ever did--you're only 3 (almost 4) once, right?
