Wedding Day!!!
Wedding Day! My children are gorgeous I just can't get over it.
It's all really a blur to be honest. Wedding at the Catholic Church on Boston College's Campus, reception at the Boston Harbor Hotel--(the NICEST hotel we will ever stay at).
Rode a party trolley from the hotel to the church and back.
They did beautifully in the wedding, were a total hit with all the adults at the wedding. They danced until they asked to go upstairs and go to bed, they had the time of their lives. And I let them, knowing that my mom was watching it all.
When Lindsey said her prayers that night, (unprompted) she prayed for the people taking care of Grandpa until mommy could get there.
Boston Part 2
Day 2 of our Boston Trip. Because we were there over Memorial Day there was a flag display at the Boston Common. One of our favorite places was this Boston Children's Museum. It was so popular with the kids that they returned a few days later. With our Perot Membership in Dallas there is a reciprocity deal and so it's free! YAY!
We left the museum and headed to the church for a rehearsal for Sunday. After the rehearsal I got the infamous call that changed my life.

Boston Part 1
On Wednesday May 21st we boarded a plane headed for Boston to attend Uncle Joey's wedding to Aunt Liz. We had one best man, 2 ring bearers and 2 flower girls to get there. Here is a couple shots of the plane ride.
It basically took us most of the day to get there and then to get settled. We stayed with Liz' mom and sister. We hit day two pretty hard.....
FENNWAY PARK:
Tour and then game later on. Uncle Joey had AWESOME seats. Sam got a hat--his souvenir.
A few of "Fu-do"
Matthew is nicknamed "foo" in our house. He is a light and a handful. He loves to collect rocks. He used to collect them in the front bushes. Stephen found his "collection" once and made him dispose of them in the creek. Stephen and I had a conversation and Matthew was allowed to start his collection again. Understandably, his new collection had a secret location that no one was allowed to know.
Then one day, I was permitted to know where it was located. And it made me feel special.
The other fun thing was that Matthew caught a fish. At the fathers and sons outing Sam brought his newly gifted (at his birthday) fishing rod and Stephen and the boys tried their hand at fishing. At about 8:00 that night I got the sweetest phone call from a little Matthew who said, "Mommy! I caught a fish!" So fun! Poor Sam didn't catch one.
Milage, MCO, and Missionaries
While on our trip to Nacogdoches for Grandpa McKneely's funeral, our wonderful van achieved a wonderful milestone! I captured a picture! =)
And aren't these girls just precious? It was our Spring Concert with the Dallas Millennial Choir and Orchestras. The theme "To Be American" featuring Glenn Beck and these girls sang their hearts out! I was so proud of them! And so happy to do this with my sis-in-law Rachel too!
I hate it when I get attached to missionaries who then get transferred. But I did. And these two are the BEST!!
Elder Chase Pruitt from Moab Utah (who I will always remember because we bought him a new helmet when he was riding around for a long time with a broken strap, then he came back as a Zone Leader)
And Sister Kelsey Simpson
Grandpa Leonard McKneely
The family put him in a home and he was determined to "break out". But eventually he got sick and just stopped fighting and passed away peacefully.
The death was a wonderful time as a family. We are grateful that families can be together forever.
As I am typing this post event, I am so grateful for this experience with our family as my children went through the whole process of a viewing, a funeral, and a burial all with someone with whom they didn't really have a relationship so that when my mother was killed, the whole process was fresh and recent to them. It was a tender mercy for which I am grateful.
