Day 7 in DC--Sunday, head injury

Sunday, the day of rest, #HisDay.
We got to attend the Arlington Ward.  It's in a very very old chapel that is gorgeous among the trees.  What I would give to have windows like this to look out each Sunday!

After sacrament meeting I was wandering back to where they have Sunday School and ran into Matthew Fischer who I served my mission with!  Small world!

We said goodbye to our new favorite "cousins" the Lewis' and headed to our new digs for week 2, the Howe's.

The Howe's are Stephen's sister Sarah's in-laws.  They were equally as gracious hosts.  They were kind enough to let us have the entire downstairs of their home, everyone had their own bed and we had our own bathroom.  It was such a nice situation.  Well, within minutes of being there, the children were taken outside and started jumping on the trampoline.  Sure enough, Matthew fell headfirst off the trampoline and landed on a rock.  Head wound, lots of blood.  But nothing that unlimited popcicles can't solve.  Good grief!
