I was honored to be invited to be interviewed on KHVN, an African American AM radio station by Robert Ashley talking about our involvement in Hurricane Harvey response. This man, Marzook is a dear friend of the church, an African American Muslim who came with us the first weekend. He went home and told so many people about what we were doing and that's how this interview came about.
At least that was the premise of this interview, but Dr. Ashley went all over the map talking about multiple topics. I was grateful to have Dallas Stake President, Mark Romney at my side as the two of us answered questions.
And this cute guy performed in his 2nd grade Rise and Shine assembly. Love him! He's getting so big!
