August 2018--Summer Wrap up

I was a "cool mom" and finally relented to these kids doing a lemonade stand.  It wasn't as successful as in years past but it kept them busy for a day....

It's started....we're now a marching band family.  This girl began band camp in the Texas heat at the end of July.  Go Eagles!

Matthew had a flareup of his allergy to blue food coloring.  Not exactly sure what set it off this time, it may have been a combination of some blue bubble gum flavored ice cream and blue gatorade he had at the lake weekend with family.  He wouldn't let me take his photo all hivey but he did let me snap a photo of "Bok-choy" at the doctors office.  Poor guy, these allergic reactions get worse every time they happen.

BUMMER came to visit!

I cannot find a photo that I KNOW we took photos!

But they blipped in briefly for a visit.  We enjoyed Max's donuts, playing at the park and swimming at the community pool.  We played games like sleeping queens, chess, trains and went to Kaitlyn's band kick off marching event at Watters Creek.  We went boating, introduced them to Chick fil a, and then held a family birthday party since we never are together on our birthdays!
