May 2018--week 4

LAST DAY OF SCHOOL!!
We're excited!

Sam "graduated" from 6th grade and elementary school.  He got an award of excellence and we're so proud!

After school Sam and I had a mom and son date to go spend some of his birthday gift cards and then enjoyed lunch at Layne's.  We determined that we like Caine's better but it was worth a shot, and we enjoyed being together.

After school, these two enjoyed the traditional shaving cream fight at Bradford Trace Park.

We headed to the lake for a first boating excursion of the year!!

I got to use my new hat!

We had an eventful experience out on the lake.  We'd been monitoring a storm that wasn't supposed to hit us, but it did come up fast and furious.  We rushed back to the dock and while it was very crazy and a bit scary, I felt complete peace which was nice.

When we whipped into our boat club docking area, there were some men there who thankfully helped us tie down our boat and even gave us some extra bumper/booey things to protect our boat.  We were all soaked and we headed back to Britt's house.

funny memory was that Matthew was excited we ended up with a new "BOOBIE"!!

We also participated in our spring piano recitals and they did superb!  The youngest three take lessons from Eila Bunker.  Kaitlyn takes from Meridith Brill.
